Abstract

A one piece wheel is employed, it can be of any type. It consists of a hub and rim (2) and spokes (or a disc). The rim has a base with two flanged parts (5) which are seatings for the tyre beadings (6) of a tyre (7) which can be tubeless, or not. There are two inclined seatings and others at different angles. A belt (12) of flexible material closely fits the rim contours and is held by threaded rods (13), at the belt ends which pass through holes (14) and nuts (15). A hole (17) is provided for the air valve. The belt holds deflated tyres fairly firmly to the rim.
