Abstract

Between the weighing-machine for the additives, and the concrete-mixer is the heating-container for the additives. In the heating-container are pipes for the inflow of steam and for discharging the steam into the additives. The heating-container has a round top with stirrer and inlet, and sloping walled bottom part with outlet lock. An inspection cover is also provided for the heating vessel and the slotted pipe through which steam is introduced into the system, and conveniently this inspection cover can also mount the stirring unit. Pref. the heating vessel and the steam pipes are thermally lagged to conserve heat.
