Abstract

Aerosol container with internal flexible envelope dividing the container into two spaces, one connected to the container valve. One of the spaces contains the product, in which is dissolved a propulsive gas. The other space contains a propulsive fluid insoluble or only slightly soluble in the product. The material of the flexible envelope is permeable to gases but not to liquid. The product is packed into one of the spaces, with the dissolved propulsive fluid, and the other space is pressurized with the other fluid. Part of the dissolved gas penetrates through the membrane until equilibrium is achieved. The pressure of the insoluble propulsion liquid is considerably greater than the pressure of solution of the product propulsive gas.
