Abstract

An electric shoe cleaning and polishing machine of simple construction and which is suitable for use in hotels and similar places. Two cylindrical brushes are mounted side by side on a base plate (9) and revolve in opposite directions, towards each other. Their bristles (3) are shaped to fit the contour of the shoe. An electric motor (5) drives the brushes through pulleys (6) and a belt, and is operated by a foot switch (10) pressed down when the shoe is inserted under the brushes. On the end opposite to the motor is a liquid polish container (8) and a cover is fitted over the machine.
