Abstract

A cover protects the means of adjustment from impacts and also serves to lock them in position. The two adjusters are adjacent to each other at the rear end of the jack and are co-axial with the jack cylinder. Adjustment is carried out by turning one or the other of these parts about its axis, in one direction or the other, without the necessity of dismantling the machine. The rearward travel of the jack piston is limited by a stop, the position of which can be adjusted. Forward travel is limited by a movable front stop.
