Abstract

Consists of two similar hydraulic jacks which control the inclination of each side, fitted between the bogie chassis and the vehicle body. These jacks are pipe connected to respond to a accelerometer which measures the transverse acceleration of the base of the body. The jacks are actuated by a piston device, operated by an elastic part of the secondary suspension. The piston device is in fact a pump working in conjunction with compressed gas reservoirs. The accelerometer is hydraulically connected to the rest of the system. The ends of the jacks are spherical, seating in similar parts on the body.
