Abstract

The sprouts are fed to V shaped grooves in a vibrating platform. They transfer to bottomless grooves in a guideway. All the grooves have pref. an angle between 52 and 72 degrees between their sides. The sprouts are pressed into the guideway grooves by a flexible endless belt and the stalks project through the bottom of the grooves and are cut off by >=1 rotating knife.
