Abstract

The switch consist of a modular case(1), fixed contacts 3 and movable contacts (7). Each movable contact is mounted onto a strip(6)which is pivoted about a hooked strip(5). Through thr stips(6) is fitted a traction bar(13)which is actuated by a toggle(10)and restrained by springs(14). Levers(31), although inactive when the switch is closed, help the traction bar(13)during opening of the switch. A force can thus be supplied to pull welded contacts apart; separation of the contacts does not depend on the force of a weak spring.
