Abstract
A plastic calculator is for determining true course, drift, compass heading and ground speed, and for providing calibration of distance by direct reading involving no calculations. Equally suitable for pre-flight or in-flight use it is particularly valuable for trainee pilots as it clearly depicts the vector triangles. A graduated base with two movable sealed pointers and an elastic graduated rule provides for scaling of distance.
