Abstract

The modular regular octahedrons have two horizontal surfaces, forming, when in pairs, a single, common sloping ridge, leaving between them on each storey regular tetrahedric spaces, alternately pointing upwards and downwards. The framework is made up of uniform round bars and uniform junction pieces. Cladding sections close the outside modular triangles and provide vertical surfaces, in the form of monocoque sections, rigidly attached to the bars and outside junctions of the framework. Cove-plates enclose the bars and junction pieces. The monocoque sections are either trihedrons, dihedrons or angled dihedrons, and are finally covered with weatherproof material and fitted with heat insulation.
