Abstract

Woven wire specif. having a mesh width ranging from 30 My to 20 My, is obtained by dipping a metal lattice acting as a support or carrier and having a larger mesh width pref. >=37 My into a metal plating bath for a time sufficient to product a coating on the lattice surface and therefore a reduction in the required mesh width. Specif. the bath is composed of an aq. soln. of a Ni salt and a hypophosphide, and the support lattice is stainless steel.
