Abstract

The hinge joint comprises a section which is screwed to the frame of the window or door. The centre portion of this section is raised and is traversed by a pin. The moving part of the hing has a boss in the top of which there is a groove. This groove is of smaller diameter the pin which passes through the boss and thereby holds the moving and fixed parts of the hinge together. One end of the pin incorporates two flats which are slightly closer together than the width of the groove in the boss. By moving this pin the two parts of the hinge may be separated.
