Abstract

The device has improved rigidity, is completely self locking, and no screws or pegs are required. It consists of U-section slotted upright members and spacing cross-bars. Into the slots fit any of three types of "stop-blocks" which with sloping internal edges lock the ends of corners of shelves against the upright with a wedging action. Stops with single or double anchorage in the slots support light and heavy duty shelving respectively. A double-headed stop supports two adjacent shelves which are particularly for radiators or heating units.
