Cu alloy contg., by wt., 10-12% Ni, 2.2-2.6% Al, 0.8-1.1% Si, 0.5-0.8% Cr, bal. Cu, is used for prodn. of current-carrying springs and resilient pts. of intricate structure for use at =250 degrees C in precision mechanics, electronic and radio ind. Props. include electrical conductivity 20% to Cu; hardnes 355 kg/mm2; tensile strength 130 kp/mm2f Young's modulus 13500 kp/mm2; yield strength 90 kp/mm2.
