Abstract
Heat-resistant Al-contg. cast iron alloy contg. by wt 19-25% Al, 1.5-2.5% C, 1-2.5% Si, 0-1.2% Mn, 0.2-3.5% Cu, 0-0.3% P, 0.02-0.2% Ce, bal. Fe, is prepd. by adding Al, as 24-30 wt% pre-alloy (w.r.t. total alloy wt) contg. by wt. 0.05-9.5% Cu, 0-2% Mg, 0-6% Si, 3% Mn, bal. Al. Alloys have >20 kp/mm2 tensile strengths, are not brittle, and have 450 kp/mm2 Brinell hardness.
