Appts. for feeding oxy-acetylene nozzles which are used at a number of dispersed work stations comprises a source of pressurised acetylene and source of pressurised oxygen disposed at the same fixed point and each fitted with a pressure reducing valve at their outlets and >=2 distributors connected (a) by two supple low pressure feed pipes through pressure reducing valves and (b) to the nozzles, the distributors being situated at the same place adjacent to >=1 of the work stations.
