Abstract

1,258,322. Feeding sheets. MABEG MASCHINENBAU G.m.b.H. NACHF HENSE & PLEINES G.m.b.H. & CO. 29 April, 1969 [24 May, 1968], No. 21757/69. Heading B8R. Sheets (18, 19) are fed over a table 2 and registered against front stops 3, Figs. 1 and 2, and side stops 4 by means of sheets of air from nozzle means comprising a plurality of nozzles 14-17 connected to a source of air under pressure and individually or collectively rotatable angularly, e.g. by a hand wheel 13, to adjust the direction of the air flow, whereby the sheets are gently moved against and held against the stops 3 and the stops 4 at one side, until the stops 3 are moved to allow the sheets to be fed to a printing-machine.
