Abstract
Thin film circuits, partic. low ohmic wirings, resistance networks, and semiconductor circuits, are produced by photo-etching. The uppermost layer is the "wiring layer", of a noble metal; below it is an intermediate or adhesion layer with an anodic soln. potential in selected electrolytes higher than that of the noble metal layer, and with only a slight contact potential displacement between it and the noble metal layer. Pref. the noble metal layer is Au or Pd and the intermediate layer is Ti.
