Abstract

Quickly dissolved tablets having bleaching and disinfecting activity contain, by wt., (a) 80-98% Na- and/or K dichloro-isocyanurate, (b) 1.7-18 (3.5-9)% water-contng. MgAl silicate capable of swelling in water, (c) 0.2-1.5 (0.3-1)% Mg- and/or Ca soaps of satd. 16-20C fatty acids, esp. Mg stearate, as plasticisers, and opt. (d) 2% of >=1 surface active wetting agent, and opt. 0.3-1% colloidally sol. SiO2. They are used, alone, for prepn. of bleaching and disinfecting solns. or for sterilising solns.; also in combination with textile detergents, cleansing and rinsing agents, alkaline bottle washing or automatic disch-washing compsns.
