Abstract
Magnetic welding arrangement employing a magnetically-moved arc, esp. for the welding of hollow sections, has a magnetic system comprising separable permanent magnets. An auxiliary coil is positioned immediately adjacent to the permanent magnets for the subsequent magnetisation of the permanent magnets.
