Abstract

The texturised yarn, of polyamide or polyester filaments, passes through the yarn guide in a horizontal U-shaped path defined by a fixed roller, and a pair of rollers on a carrier held by a spring. The purpose is to provide a constant compensation for inequalities in tension imparted to the yarn by nature of the texturising process, to reduce the rejection rate through imperfections.
