Circular knitting machine needle selector for setting the needles in two pattern posns. selecting the needles of only the lower set and for disabling the selection is formed by a common bearing which holds a rotary cylinder and its associated cam guides in the four respective posns. Bearing acts also as a toggle element for the lever actuating the holding springs of the selector elements and supporting the holding springs.
