Abstract

Liquid metal stream feed device for applying metal coatings or measuring metal supply in metallurgy, casting and machine building, contains >=2 cylindrical (or near-cylindrical) chambers placed in a magnetic field, enabling continuous circulation of metal round chamber axis, and each connected to an upper liquid metal-filled container through an axial opening. The chambers are joined with one another via openings in their cylindrical walls, for closure of the electrical current circuit over the metal while current is supplied to metal in upper containers from the opposite poles of a current source. The openings are pref. connected by a conduit fitted with an outlet for molten metal.
