Abstract

Device is intended for the simultaneous feeding of a number of microrecipients which are connected to a plate; this is moved by a chain conveyor on a rising table. The recipients are fed with milk from a corresp. number of intermediate capacities, in the form of vertical tubes. The upper ends of the latter are grouped on a distribution plate and are fitted with valves at their lower ends. Measuring tubes can be plunged into a variable depth into the capacities by means of a regulating device operated by a hand-wheel. The milk is delivered from intermediate tanks which are fitted with plunging means; these rotate and cause the milk to overflow and till the intermediate capacities in about two seconds. These, in turn, pour into the micro-recipients when they arrive on the conveyor and are raised by the table. The exact quantity of milk is delivered to each recipient in which it is left to curdle as it passes along the conveyor; any surplus milk is returned to the tanks.
