Abstract

Designed for insertion between knitted garment components, such as a length of collars or cuffs, the sepg. yarn between adjacent components is of a soft polyamide material of 60-120 denier with a min. tear resistance of 3g/den. The sepg. yarn softens during the subsequent heat stabilising process to a low viscosity allowing the knitted components to be pulled apart, without leaving any residue. The yarn may be kitted between the components by a knitting machine.
