Abstract
Measurement of creep under stress of a hollow test piece esp. for use as a nuclear fuel element container, subjected to a neutron flux, the stress being applied by placing the interior of the test piece under pressure. A gas of high neutron absorption is injected into the interior of the test piece, thus permitting prodn. of a neutron graphic image on a plate, with a clear contrast between it and the background corresponding to the medium outside the test piece, and obtaining the coefft. of enlargement of the plate relative to the test piece with the help of absorbent controls placed in test pieces immediate vicinity.
