Abstract

The textile materials, in the form of wound yarn creels, piece goods, apparel or packaged textiles, are held by a perforated cylinder in an autoclave, with a small cylindrical space to allow the treatment fludi to be pumped through in conjunction with a heat exchanger and a dosing unit to inject dyestuff or treatment chemicals into the system. The purpoe is to reduce the volume of fluid in relation to the volume of the material being treated, and to offer economy in the consumption of treatment chemicals.
