Abstract

Treatment fluids, e.g., dyes, are continuously applied in an extremely uniform manner to textile materials, carpets, fibrous fleece, plastic widths, etc., by a distribution pipe either side or on both sides of the material. The distribution pipe(s) are subjected to an overpressure and feature discharge openings of exactly the same cross-section which are dimensioned so as to obtain a specific flow velocity at a specific distance from the openings. The treatment fluid is mixed in a flow compensation and mixture area which is positioned in between the discharge openings and the material to be treated.
