Abstract
Heat-hardenable coating cpd. contains (a) a phenoxy resin which is a glycidylether of a copolymer of an epihalohydrin and bisphenol-A (mol. wt. 8000-30000); (b) an epoxy resin which is a polyglycidylether of a PF condensate of the novolak type, a glycidylether of a copolymer of an epihalohydrin and bisphenol-A, a polyglycidyleter of an aliph. polyhydroxy cpd. or a mixt. thereof; (c) a hardener and/or catalyst; (d) opt. a filler and (e) a solvent; the eq. ratio of hardener/catalyst : epoxy resin being 0.5:1 to 2:1, and the wt. ratio hardener/catalyst + epoxy resin : phenoxy resin being 10:1 to 1:1. Coatings used in mfr. of circuit and switch cards are flexible, tough, firmly adhering to substrates and free from pores.
