Abstract
1356188 Curing epoxy resins DOW CHEMICAL CO 31 Aug 1971 [1 Sept 1970] 40624/71 Heading C3B Epoxy resins (I) are cured by reaction of an acid salt of an amine terminated polyglycol (II) with sulphuric, maleic, fumaric or succinic acid, the ratio of polyepoxide to the acid salt being 0À5-2À5 based on the epoxide equivalent/amine hydrogen equivalent of that required stoichiometrically for complete cross-linking. I may be a diglycidyl ether of bisphenol A. II may be derived from polyethylene-, polypropylene- or polybutylene-glycol each having M.W. 200- 2000.
