Air venting device, e.g. for permitting a liq. storage to 'breathe' as the level of its contents changes, comprises (a) a rigid casing with a first opening connecting it to atmos. and a second opening pref. at the other end designed to communicate with a closed space contg a gaseous fluid such as air or other gas provided above the variable surface level of a liq. in a reservoir, (b) a flexible separator extending within the rigid casing having an outlet connected to the first opening and dividing the interior of the casing into a first compartment of variable volume carrying the first opening and contg. atmos. air, and a second compartment of variable volume carrying the second outlet opening and contg the gaseous fluid.
