Abstract

The humidifier is for use in a small-volume container, e.g. a cigar-box, and comprises a tube incorporating a water reservoir connected to a compartment accommodating moisture-diffusing material. Ports in the compartment can be shut off by an external sliding ring. One of the tube ends (5) is closed and supports the moisture-absorbent and diffusing material (8). These are compressed against it by a disc (9) of elastic material whose periphery bears against the inside of the tube. One or more ports (14) in the disc allow the water to flow through.
