Abstract
Compsn. is prepd. by mixing (a) a resinous thermoplastic obtained by copolymerisation of >=1 aromatic vinyl hydrocarbon with >=1 vinyl cyanide, alone or in mixture with a vinyl chloride resin opt. contg. plasticisers, and (b) a rubber obtained by copolymerisation of 1 vinyl cyanide, with >=1 conjugated 1,3-diene, where the rubber has a particle size of 1500 angstroms pref. down to 200 angstroms, for a mat surface and >2000 angstroms, pref. up to 5000 angstroms for a brilliant finish. Sheets may be produced e.g. by injection, compression or extrusion, and are shock, heat and tear resistant.
