Abstract

The box (pref. of expanded polystyrene) has a dish-shaped cover which locates in an inverted position on a dish shaped lower portion. The cover and lower portion have end flanges which when the box is closed define a ridge at each end extending completely around the box, and a paper or plastic sheet extending between the ridges is glued around the box to close it. Pref. the cover and lower portion have co-operating formations to position them together correclty. The box is inexpensive.
