Abstract

The mixture comprises 60-95% hemihydrated CaSO4, 5-40% Portland cement, and sufficient water to give the desired flowability (water/powder ratio 0.4:0.45), plus 0.01-0.1% org. retarder, and =0.2% cellulose ester or other plastifier. Mixture is used for prefabrication or on-site moulding of large building sections, giving improved flowability, rapid hardening, low porosity, good mechanical strength and good weather resistance.
