Abstract

Improvement is to BE 696,368 and 711,656. The fuse is made in five parts, namely, a rotor, a fuse body, a percussion part, a cap housing, a charge and the ogive. The parts can be fitted together one within the other. The cap is made of material which has good heat insulation, but feeble mechanical strength and permits easy ignition of the charge by an ignition flame.
