Abstract
Diazotype compsn. contg. a 3-phenoxy-4-aminobenzenediazonium salt of formula I below and a 2-acylaminophenol of formula II below:- where R is phenoxy R1R2 are C1-4 alkyl or together form a carbocycle (CH2) or 5 or can form a methylene chain interrupted by O atom to a total of 5 atoms. For the coupler II, R3 is C1-8 alkyl or alkoxy, or phenyl. R4 is C1-8 alkyl or aryl. The composition may also contain as tonal modifier, a dihydroxynaphthalene or a 2:3-hydroxynaphthoic acid amide particularly the piperidide, o-anisidide or mixture.
