1358930 Glass for resistance device MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC INDUSTRIAL CO Ltd 19 Aug 1971 [19 Aug 1970 (5) 21 Aug 1970 (2)] 39039/71 Heading C1M [Also in Division H1] A negative resistance device comprises a layer of glass not more than 100 Á thick and consisting essentially of tellurium, vanadium and oxygen. As described the atomic ratio of tellurium to vanadium in the glass lies in the range 60 : 40 to 29 : 71. The glass is normally made by melting together tellurium oxide and vanadium pentoxide and a thin layer formed from it by grinding or by blowing the molten glass to form a bubble.
