Abstract

Compsn. additives contain (a) 20-80 wt.% freezing pt. depressant (e.g. diammonium phosphate or ammonium sulphate, opt. replaceable by 10-40% monoammonium phosphate), and (b) 80-0 wt.% urea. Opt. 10-60 wt.% auxiliary depressant (e.g. ammonium or alkali chloride), 1-5% wetting agent, and corrosion inhibitors can also be incorporated. Adequate spraying at low temps. is ensured.
