Abstract

The dryer has pref. a cubic casing in which is rotatably mounted a perforated drum. Textile to be treated is positioned in the drum which is rotated while hot air or steam is circulated through it. The auxiliary equipment e.g. drive motor for the drum, air blower, and supply and exhaust ducts are all mounted on the back wall of the casing, and pref. the front wall of the casing provided with a door to allow access to the drum. Several dryers can be arranged in a compact assembly.
