Abstract
Individual grains of pyrotechnic intensifier compsn for ignition batches, partic. for igniting propulsive units of solid fuel rockets, consisting of granulated mixture of solid oxidising agents and combustible materials, are coated with a film-forming non-hygroscopic material, as protection against abrasion. Pref. film-forming material (I) consits of natural or synthetic polymers or cellulose derivs, but more pref. of polylefines. Pref. (I) is applied as aqs. emulsion followed by drying or as solns.
