The resulting mixture is melted and moulded into blocks. The blocks evaporate and diffused insecticides into the atmosphere without either dripping or disintegrating as a result of the wax. Pref. DDVP forms 10-30% diatomaceous earth 5-15%, and perfume 1-5% of the compsn.
