Abstract

Drive arrangement for a bobbin winder comprising at least first and second electric motors driving wind-up bobbin and tensioning roll respectively. First and second signals representing the tangential speeds of the bobbin and roll respectively are applied to the input of a comparator, the output of which is connected to a control circuit for the first motor in such a way as to keep these tangential speeds constantly equal to each other. The second signal is applied to a second comparator supplied with a reference potential, the output being applied to a second control circuit for the second motor in such a way that the tensioning roll speed remains constant at a pre-determined value.
