Abstract

A rotor end face, which is perpendicular to the axis of rotation, has a no. of recesses arranged at progressively increasing distances from the axis, and at least one annular groove intersecting the recesses. Groove and recesses are formed into channels by the face of an opposed stator. The media to be mixed are introduced through a central rotor channel into these channels. Stator projections protruding into the groove move the media along the latter while centrifugal force, forces them outwards into a collection chamber.
