Abstract
Moulds comprise a base or sole block capable of rising and falling between a pair of side blocks, where the sole block is supported by low friction studs on a plate which can be reciprocated horizontally by a suitable ram or leger and cam mechanism and which has tapered sided cavities which are thus moved from beneath the studs, causing the mould base block to rise and fall.
