Abstract

Continuous mixer for synthetic epoxy type resins. The machine consists of a rotor with one or more integral discs mounted rigidly on its shaft. The rotor rotates inside a mixing chamber with has divisions which extend between the rotor discs. Both rotor and mixing chamber are coated with the synthetic resin to prevent foreign matter contaminating the mix. The rotor blades may be constructed of synthetic resin and the mixing chamber can be heated. This mixer completely disperses the resin and its hardener, without the risk of contamination.
