Abstract

The apparatus is used to heat an electrically conductive body e.g. for coating a conductive material with non-conductive material. It comprises a high frequency supply and a first and second transmission line electrically connected to the respective output clamps of the supply. One of a pair of induction devices is connected to the first wire and the other to the other. Each induction device is spaced from and extends at least partly around the conductive body for forming a capacitative coupling with it.
