Abstract
The core body consists of powdered, sintered metal. On the gear sections is an outer, wear-resistant layer anchored in the core by material which has penetrated into its pores. Spec. the outer layer consists of tin, bronze, phosphorus or aluminium bronze, Monel (RTM) Mo, Ni, Cu or alloyed steel.
