Abstract

Method for biological synthesis of albumin comprises subjecting the residual products (I) of cyclohexane oxidation, at a hydrocarbon conc. at 0.5-25 g/l to aerobic fermentation using micro-organisms of the stock Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Fermentation is pref. effected at 25-37 degrees C, esp. 30-32 degrees C, and pH 6.5-7.5 esp. 7.0-7.2. The fermentation mixture is pref. stirred at 400-1200. esp. 400-450 revs./min. Pref. (I) are mixtures of 4-6C aliphatic mono- and dicarboxylic acids, and hdrocarboxylic acids, esp. hydroxycaproic acid.
