Abstract

Automatic device for forming and cutting dough-like products into individual portions of equal size and wt. has pushing members and knives operated automatically and in sequence by an arrangement of cams keyed to a single shaft. The sequence is descent of the pushers to permit loading of the dividing device with the product, closing and bolting of a lid, rising of the pu shers and knives to bring the upper surface of the product into contact with the lower surface of the lid, stop the motion of the pushers but continue to raise the knives, unbolt and open the lid, raise the pushers further the level of the knives to permit removal of the individual product portions.
